What a Dripping Relief Valve Is Telling You
The valve on the side of your tank lets out water when pressure or temperature gets too high. A few drips while heating is normal. A steady flow is not. It usually means the valve has worn out, or the water pressure coming into the house is too high. We check both, because replacing the valve alone will not fix high mains pressure.
